Creating the central hub of all SAFE Perth’s activities.

The Challenge

We were tasked with building an easy-to-edit website that could become the central hub of all SAFE Perth’s activities. With 1,200 animals adopted each year, more than 300 volunteers and foster carers, and almost one million dollars in vet bills covered through donations, this was no easy feat!

The Solution

Considering SAFE Perth’s needs, we built in Squarespace and repurposed the platform’s blog functionality to setup the Adopt page. This meant SAFE Perth could benefit from Squarespace’s advanced search functionality and easy-to-edit interface. The Helium team delivered a multi-faceted site that responded to the five core not-for-profits elements, in a single platform: brand awareness, cause promotion, education and social change, donations, and volunteer engagement.

The Client

SAFE Perth are a not-for-profit dedicated to the rescue, care, rehabilitation, and rehoming of homeless and abandoned pets across WA.
