FAQ.

  • Do I need a website for my law-based business?

Honestly? Yes. Your website is a powerful asset and will certainly make life easier. It acts as an information hub that showcases services, case studies, expertise, your team, and testimonials that show viewers what you bring to the table. It’s also a place to share relevant industry insights through blogs.

Additionally, you can direct people to your website form Google searches to reach more people in your area looking for the exact services you offer.

  • How much does a website for a lawyer (or similar) cost?

The majority of websites we’ve built for the legal sector fit into our Simple Website package, coming in at $4,999 + GST. With five pages, and built by our in-house team in just one day, this is suitable for most small legal firms. We also have website packages for larger companies, or those that require complex functionality. These start from $10k + GST. Like you, we love transparency with this stuff, so you can see our pricing and packages here.

  • What's the best way to build a legal-based website?

Whilst you can attempt to build a website in-house using DIY builders like Squarespace or Wix, it’s always better to hand over your biggest, and arguably most important, digital asset to a professional. We usually create beautiful, easy-to-edit legal-based websites in a platform called Duda — a great alternative to WordPress, which can be difficult to update.

However, we can certainly build in WordPress if your website project is a little more complex as WordPress generally offers more flexibilty here.

  • What should I put on my website?

As a guide, we generally suggest you include your services and what makes you different to others in your sector. How do you stand out from your competitors, and what do your clients gain by choosing you? You can also include your team, case studies, testimonials, blog articles, downloadable resources and forms for clients, and more.

However, don’t get too caught up on this. When you engage Helium for a website, we’ll guide you on what content to include. With your input, we can even write it for you. Plus, our websites are incredibly easy to edit, so they can grow and evolve along with your business. You can add, remove, update, or edit content as much as you like.
